✨ Early Morning Pick-up

Your adventure begins before sunrise with a private taxi transfer to the airport. After check-in, your flight departs around 07:00, giving you stunning views over Zanzibar and the Tanzanian mainland.

🦒 First Game Drive

Upon landing, your safari jeep with guide will be ready. Drive straight into the vast landscapes of Mikumi National Park, keeping your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, hippos and more.

🍽️ Lunch in the Park

At midday, pause for a freshly prepared Tanzanian buffet-style lunch inside the park, with time to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

🦓 Second Game Drive

Continue exploring the savannah in the afternoon. The route is flexible, adapted to where the animals are most active that day, to give you the best chance of unforgettable encounters.

✈️ Return Flight

In the late afternoon, your flight will take you back towards Zanzibar. You’ll arrive at your hotel around 18:00, with memories of a true African safari adventure.

✈️ Flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi takes about 40 minutes each way.

🚙 Safari is in shared jeeps — upgrade to a private jeep and guide for $150 (on request).

🦁 The order of activities may vary, depending on animal movements and weather.

🌿 Safari guides are highly experienced and available in multiple languages (on request).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children of all ages are welcome (special rates for children under 6 and infants).

Deposit and Cancellations

• Deposit: A 15% deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is not refundable. Unless otherwise arranged, the remaining balance must be paid three days before pick-up.

• Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the excursion, or no-shows on the day, are non-refundable.

• Penguin Traveller Cancellations: If we cancel your trip due to weather or safety reasons (e.g. heavy rain or wind) and a new trip cannot be scheduled before your departure, you will receive a full refund.
